Soft Copy
A "soft copy" is a digital, non-physical version of a document or file that exists in a computer's memory or on a storage device. It is the opposite of a hard copy, which is a physical printout. Soft copies can be viewed on a screen, transferred between devices, and are easily editable with the right software.
