A menu bar is a horizontal bar at the top of a computer screen or window that contains labels for drop-down menus like "File," "Edit," and "View". It serves as a graphical user interface element for accessing an application's commands and settings, such as saving documents, changing text, or closing the application.

Function: It lists menu titles, and clicking one reveals a pull-down menu with further commands and options.
