Media
In computing, the term "media" can refer to the physical material used for storing data, such as CDs, DVDs, or hard drives, or it can refer to the content itself, like video, audio, images, and games. It can also describe the physical cables or wireless space through which data is transmitted.
Storage media: The physical device on which data is stored.
Optical: CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs.
Solid-state: Flash drives and solid-state drives (SSDs).
Data/content media: Any kind of data, particularly audio, video, images, or other multimedia content.
Transmission media: The physical or wireless path that carries data.
