Hyperlink
A hyperlink is a clickable element, such as text or an image, that directs a user to another location, such as a different webpage, document, or section within the same page. Text Hyperlink: A hyperlink embedded within a word or phrase, making the text clickable. The text provides context for the linked content.
Image Hyperlink: An image that has been made clickable to navigate to another resource.
Bookmark Hyperlink: A hyperlink that takes the user to a different part of the same webpage.
Email Hyperlink: A hyperlink embedded in an email address that, when clicked, opens a new email addressed to that specific recipient.
Anchor Text: The visible, clickable text of a hyperlink that provides context to the user about where the link will lead.
URL: The address of the destination resource that the hyperlink points to. This address is often found in the HTML code of the hyperlink.
