Hover
In computing, to "hover" means to position the mouse pointer over an element on the screen without clicking it. This action can trigger a "hover effect," which changes the element's appearance or displays additional information, such as a tooltip, a larger image, or a sub-menu.
What happens when you hover
Visual feedback: The element may change color, increase in size, or change in some other way to indicate it's a clickable or interactive area.
Information display: A small box, often called a tooltip, may appear to provide more details about the element.
Interactive menus: Hovering over a menu item can reveal a sub-menu or a navigation panel.
Image changes: An image may switch to a different version, or an icon may change its appearance.
