index img

Cyberbullying is the intentional use of computers, phones, and other electronic devices to send, post, or share harmful, embarrassing, or false content about another person, often to harass or humiliate them. Unlike traditional bullying, cyberbullying can be persistent, difficult to escape, and spread to a wide audience, with bullies often hiding their identities and the impact of their actions not being immediately apparent.

What is it?

Digital Harassment: Using digital devices like computers and cell phones to harass, threaten, or degrade someone.

Harmful Content: Posting or sharing mean, hurtful, or embarrassing comments, rumors, photos, or videos.

Identity Issues: Creating fake profiles to impersonate someone, spreading lies or false information about them.

Private Information: Sharing someone's personal information without their consent to cause embarrassment or humiliation (doxing).
